Monday is opening day for pool lap swimming



The pool at Mariposa’s county park opened on Monday for adult lap swimming. The water temperature is close to 80 degrees, pool supervisor April Hawley said.Lap swim hours are noon to 12:45 p.m. and 4 to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. Relay flips flapjacks on Saturday



The Mariposa Relay for Life organization will host a survivor pancake breakfast on Saturday, May 4.The breakfast is open to everyone, and cancer survivors are free.
