Plan would cut Mariposa Grove tram tours



A Yosemite National Park plan released on Tuesday would eliminate tram tours, parking lots, some roads and a gift shop at the Park’s Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. Firefighters rescue cat from east-county blaze



A Ponderosa Basin cat is alive this week after firefighters pulled the pet from a burning, smoke-filled home on Harris Cutoff Road.
