Two men booked on sex crime charges

 Two Mariposa County men have been arrested for unrelated sex crimes. One of them remains in custody and the other has posted bail. Forrest Monk, 56, of Coulterville was arrested by the Mariposa County Sheriff’s SAFE Unit on Jan. 25. Monk has been charged with felony sex with a minor. Bail was set at $50,000.
