During the morning hours of May 16, the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office investigated an illegal wilderness marijuana garden near the Windy Point area below the town of Coulterville. The woman charged with embezzling more than $8,000 from the Mariposa Preschool Co-op appeared in Mariposa County Superior Court on May 14.
