Carolyn Lindquist

Carolyn Ann Lindquist of Mariposa passed away suddenly in Doctors Hospital in Modesto on Monday, Nov. 27. She was born Sept. 13, 1933 to Myrtle and Ralph Biblehouse in Long Beach, Calif.

Carolyn was the beloved wife of Don Lindquist for more than 49 years before his passing in 2009. Her family and friends will undoubtedly remember her for her quick wit, confidence and willingness to love and encourage others. She taught everyone that life is full of energy of which she has an unlimited supply.

Carolyn sang in the Merced Community Choir for 44 years, she was the best crafter and could make anything. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed the singing group Il Volo. She was able to see them in concert many times and twice in Italy this year. Her passion of music has been passed down to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by Marilyn Reardon, her only sibling, and by her five children: Stephanie Sullivan, Kyle Lindquist and Kimbel, Cindy Muehlenbeck and Matt, Julie Lindquist, Dawn McLean and Phil; 16 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and one on the way; along with numerous other loving friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017 at the Mariposa Cemetery at 11 a.m. A celebration of life will immediately follow at the Masonic Lodge on Jones Street in Mariposa.

Her family asks that you join them.
