Joshua Lombard

Joshua Wayne Lombard was taken home to live with his Lord Jesus on July 6, 2017 after a hard fought battle with a prolonged illness.

Josh loved the Lord and the out of doors. He loved to hunt with his dad and brother, but more than anything he loved the water and fishing. It is a well-known fact that he held a pole and fished practically before he could walk. “Gone Fishing Forever” will be Josh’s legacy for all who knew and loved him. His family prays that he will find a quiet stream where he can wait until we are joined again for eternity.

Josh was born June 22, 1980. He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Cheryl Lombard and brother Robert, longtime residents of Mariposa; brother Joey Forrest, sister Misty of Merced. Josh is also survived by his wife, Heathe; two daughters Cheanne and Abigale; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be announced at a future date.

May he rest in God’s peace always.
