David Williams

David “Buster” Williams went to his eternal home on June 24, 2017 after a long and courageous fight with a long term illness with his family by his side.

Buster, as everyone knew him, was born in Mariposa, Calif., the fourth child of seven to Malcolm “Babe” Williams and Hazel Leonard Williams on Aug. 2, 1944.

Dave attended Mariposa County Schools until he moved to Costa Mesa, Calif., with the Allen family and graduated from Santa Ana Valley High School in 1962. He was in the construction industry for many years until his retirement. He loved classic cars and won many trophies and prizes for his entries. David was a long time member of the Classic Tin Car Club of Mira Loma, Calif.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Dannita Williams; son David Williams of Mira Loma; daughter Dana Martinez ( Jake) of Corona Calif.; four granddaughters who he took great pride in: Lexi, Paige, Autum and Madolyn. He also has four surviving sisters, Lonna Woods (Woody), Bonnie Borick of Mariposa, Calif., Jane McDonald (Ainsley) of Concord, Calif., Vernett “Sis” Calhoun (Bud) of Tollhouse, Calif., and one brother, Jack Williams of Mariposa. There are also many other loving family members and friends that he leaves behind.

I knew Buster almost all our

I knew Buster almost all our lives. I'm sure he will be missed. He was a lot of fun at the old Bootjack school. I especially remember a Halloween party I had and he came in the best & funniest costume. RIP old friend.
