Brenda Harlow

Brenda Harlow, long time resident of Raymond, Calif. passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 at the age of 76. She worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 20 years. Brenda was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Knowles. She loved to crochet, and also enjoyed cooking and baking.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ruth Terragno, her granddaughter Madison Alberta, and most recently her son Daniel Harlow.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 60 years, Pete Harlow; her son Ray Harlow of Raymond; her two daughters, Patty and her husband Mike Alberta of Raymond, and Laurie and her husband David Alberta of Coarsegold; her brother Chuck and his wife Marlene Terragno of Auburn; and her sister Diane and her husband Bill Rayburn of San Jose. Brenda also leaves behind her eight grandchildren: Brandon and his wife Elizabeth Alberta, Seth Alberta, Logan Alberta, Bryan and his wife Jennifer Alberta, Blaine and his wife Genevieve Alberta, Jessica Alberta, Taylor and her husband Taylor Allsup, and Cameron Harlow, and her four great-grandchildren, Mia Alberta, Bodie Alberta, Ransom Alberta, and September Alberta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The Harlow family would like to thank Hinds Hospice for their dedication and support over the past few months. The care Brenda received exceeded the expectations of her family and they are forever thankful for the continued care and guidance they received during this time.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 28, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Jay Chapel, Madera, Calif. Services will conclude at Jay Chapel.

The Harlow family would like to invite everyone to a potluck reception at Hills Pride Inn in Knowles following the Funeral Service.

Private family burial will take place at a later date.

Donations may be made in Brenda’s honor to Hinds Hospice so that future families in need of their services can feel as supported and loved as the Harlow family has.
