Methodist church to offer shredding of documents

The Mariposa United Methodist Church will have their annual spring cleaning event on Saturday, May 7.
It will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be in the parking lot behind the church at Sixth and Bullion streets.
A commercial shredding company will safely shred your confidential documents on site, in your presence. Persons can shred old tax forms, bank statements, pay stubs, checkbooks, credit card statements, medical information and other sensitive documents.
There is a suggested donation of $5 per standard file sized box. All proceeds go to the church’s children and youth programs.
At the same event, persons can donate rummage items for a future sale. No electronics or furniture will be accepted.
For more information, contact the church at (209) 966-3419.
