Fed Ex truck burns after Thursday crash

Nobody appeared to be seriously injured

A Fed Ex truck burst into flames after crashing Thursday afternoon on Indian Peak Road in Mariposa County.

Though details are sketchy, law enforcement officials on the scene said it appeared another vehicle forced the Fed Ex truck off the road and it rolled onto its side into a driveway and then burst into flames.
It happened at around 2:45 p.m. about a half-mile east of Highway 49 South.

Various agencies were on the scene, including the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol, Mariposa County Public Works, Mercy Ambulance and others.

We will have more details as they become available and a full report in our April 28 edition.
