Charleen Dworsky Main

Charleen Dworsky Main was born March 16, 1945 to Elliott and Lillian Dworsky in Santa Monica. She passed away peacefully on May 4, 2015 in Mariposa, where she had lived for 24 years.

Charleen loved to be outdoors and when she was younger you could find her out on the ranch. She was a good-hearted soul who was always supporting her children’s endeavors—you could always find her at the track for a track meet or listening to her youngest daughter sing.

She was a loving and caring mother and person who would try to help out anyway she could. She brought a smile to most people with her offbeat sense of humor. What she loved the most was getting hugs and kisses from her granddaughter Rebecca and she always wanted to hear the stories Becca had to share.

She was preceded in death by her father Elliott, mother Lillian and husband Michael. She is survived by her brother David (Jan) Dworsky; her daughters, Cara (Tim) Timmerman, Jamie (Wes) Main McDaniel, and Lindsay Main; three grandsons, Max Cutlip, Dakota Hazelwood, and Bruce Cutlip; and one granddaughter, Rebecca Mae Main.

A celebration of her life will be held at noon on Saturday, May 23 at Mariposa County Park. It will be a potluck, so please bring your favorite dish and come celebrate our Mom’s life with stories, laughter and love.
