Alice Fay Rust

On March 4, 2015, Alice Fay Rust wrecked her Harley coming from the tattoo parlor. She happily went to be with the Lord.

Alice was born on Feb. 5, 2015, and she had a great life. She had a great sense of humor, as all her friends and loved ones know. She was 76, and was a resident of Midpines for more than 50 years. Alice worked as a nurse assistant, had a restaurant, made crafts and raised her family. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and faithful friend. She had oodles of grandkids and hoards of greatgrandchildren. We mention them in that way because there are too many to list here, and without partiality, she loved them all.

Alice was a member of Midpines Bible Church and loved Jesus with all her heart. Hers was a changed life, full of miracles. She is survived by her sons; Dennis Streight of Lebanon, Ore., Robert (Rusty) Rust of Sonora, Richard Rust of Midpines and a multitude of other family. She also has a sister, Betty Chastain of Alabama.

Services for Alice will be on Saturday March 14 at Mariposa Funeral Home. A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. with a service to begin at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the Maria Lebrado Cemetery. A potluck will follow afterwards at 5101 Oak Road in Midpines.
