Woman survives vehicle rollover

(Erik Skindrud | The GAZETTE)Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 - 10:25 a.m. - Rescuers have pulled a woman from a vehicle that rolled after she lost control just west of the intersection of Highway 140 and Mt. Bullion Cutoff Road this morning. 

The woman was "conscious and alert" when she was removed from the wrecked automobile, Division Chief C.J. Jackson of the Mariposa County Fire Department said at the scene.

The incident was first reported at 9:30 a.m., a California Highway Patrol report said.

Plans at the scene called for the woman to be helicoptered to a Central Valley hospital from Cathey's Valley, Jackson said.
