Tree limb causes power outage

Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014 - 10:44 a.m. - A falling tree limb sliced a power line in the Midpines area this morning, cutting power to 2,855 customers, a PG&E spokesman said.

Customers along Colorado, Sherlock and Whitlock roads were among those affected, utility spokesman Denny Boyles said. Other residents in the Mt. Bullion and Lushmeadows areas may also have been affected, several GAZETTE readers said.

The outage was due to be repaired by 11:15 a.m. today, Boyles added.
