Kenneth Forrest Meyers

Ken Meyers died surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer on Oct. 15, 2014.

He was born on Sept. 9, 1935 in Oakland to Forrest and Lenora Meyers. Ken graduated with a degree in accounting and was a businessman for many years in the Bay Area.

Ken was always an active member of the Catholic church. Upon moving to Oakhurst in 1989, he became a member of Our Lady of the Sierra Catholic Church.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents, and by his sister Betty Baldwin. He is survived by his three daughters, Kathy Vossler and her husband Rob, Heidi Estep and her husband David, and Brenda Reddekopp and her husband Mike. He is also survived by three nieces, Judy Rempfer and her husband Jay, Sue Mimms, Sandy Nowak and her husband Chet. Additionally, he is survived by six grandchildren, all of whom he adored, including Jeffery, Bradley, Tara, Morgan, Wyatt and Will, and by three great-grandchildren, Anthony, Elijah and Alexis.

Services were held on Oct. 22 in Oakhurst.
