Pink-garbed marchers raise awareness

(Erik Skindrud | The GAZETTE)Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 - 10:45 a.m. - Garbed in pink, close to 20 marchers tromped through town this morning to raise awareness of breast cancer and the need for regular screenings to ensure early detection.

Among the marchers was Lise Gadsby of Bootjack and her miniature pony, Sasparilla. 

Today is National Mammography Day, John C. Fremont hospital spokesperson Lorna Coci explained.
