Vehicle check turns up pot-plant cargo

Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 - 4:15 p.m. - A check on a vehicle stopped along Highway 140 in Cathey's Valley on Tuesday turned up a crop of live marijuana plants. A subsequent search of a suspect's residence turned up more plants and an indoor grow operation.

The CHP investigation resulted in the arrest of Paul Edward Davis, Jr., 21, of Mariposa on suspicion of possessing marijuana for cultivation and sale. Bail was set at $60,000.

A total of 127 plants were seized, a CHP report said.

I really hate how everything

I really hate how everything in this town is blasted all over the town and I wouldn't hate it so much if the truth was actually told. Do you people even care that these people have lives and don't need everything in the publics eye.
