Richard loved to “tinker around the barnyard,” as he put it, go fishing and prospect for gold, and was always ready to take any of his kids or grandkids that wanted to go. He also enjoyed baseball, NASCAR racing, and the family’s yearly Super Bowl party, complete with Chicago-style Italian beef sandwiches, and strawberry poke cake.

It was Richard’s wish to not have a funeral. Instead, a celebration of life event will be take place at a later date.
