By Greg Knight | Associate Editor

Monday, June 15, 2014 - 7:30 a.m. - The Haigh Fire, which burned 130 acres near Coulterville at Highway 49 and Haigh Road, is now fully contained according to CAL FIRE.

The fire burned in heavy brush. High temperatures and dry conditions allowed the fire to burn very quickly after it started at approximately 3 p.m. on Tuesday. No structures were destroyed or threatened.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
