Mariposa man injured in rollover accident

(Greg Knight | The GAZETTE)Tuesday, May 27, 2014 - 12:15 p.m. - A Mariposa man is recovering after his truck overturned on Hwy. 140 on Saturday, May 24, leaving him injured with lacerations and a broken left arm.

74-year-old Clifford Knowles was driving westbound near Briceburg  when, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol, his unsafe speed led to his 1996 Dodge Dakota leaving the roadway and overturning.

Knowles was transported via Mercy Air Ambulance to Modesto's Memorial North Hospital.
