Griz drop series opener to Bradshaw Christian, 6-0

By Greg Knight | Associate Editor

Sunday, May 18, 2014 - 10:30 a.m. - For the Grizzlies' baseball team, the hopes and dreams of the 2014 season will be on the line on Wednesday, May 21, as the team attempts to rebound from a shocking 6-0 loss to Bradshaw Christian in the best-of-three Sac-Joaquin Section Division VI playoff series.

The loss, which came at Stagg High School in Stockton, sets up a must-win situation for the Grizzlies this week.

Though Mariposa logged four hits in the game, they were not able to turn them into scoring runs, and coupled with a pair of errors, saw the Griz hang a doughnut on the board after seven innings.
