Williams, Bullis lead Lady Griz in offensive averages

According to MaxPreps.com, Williams, a senior at Mariposa County High School, averaged .514 on the plate over the course of 74 at-bats during 22 games in the 2014 season. She also led the team with 32 runs and 38 hits, including 10 doubles as a batter, and was only struck out three times.

Fellow senior Claire Bullis led the team in steals at 13 out of 14 attempts, as well as logging a .397 average in 78 at-bats. Bullis also recorded 24 runs and 31 hits, as well as 14 RBI, second only to Williams’ 17 RBI on the year.
