(Greg Knight | The GAZETTE)Thursday, May 8, 2014 - 7:15 p.m. - In what was arguably the most physical and intense game of the season for Mariposa's Lady Grizzly soccer team, the green and gold fell in a 1-0 overtime Sac-Joaquin playoff battle on Thursday, May 8 at home.

Although the Lady Griz came alive in the second half of the game, courtesy of a series of shots on goal by senior Kayla Gilgo, the game remained scoreless at the end of regulation.

Just two minutes into the overtime period, the Lady Bullfrogs lashed out to find the net and the win.
