(Carter Ranch | CONTRIBUTED)Tuesday, May 13, 2014 - 12 p.m. - For the past 12 years the bobbing and weaving hills hidden along a stretch of road in rural Mariposa County have reverberated with the sounds of eclectic music every summer.

Andy Roberts, a local musician and member of The Mountain Men, played the 2013 Carter Ranch festival. Roberts and his band will return to play the Yosemite Music Festival this July. Finney held the first event in 1999 at the gymnasium of Mariposa County High School as his senior project.

Moving forward to 2014, a full 13 years after that first festival, it is finally making the move to the fairgrounds as the Yosemite Music Festival on July 11 and 12.
