FFA plant sale is on Saturday

Wednesday, May 7, 2014 - 11:15 a.m. - Mariposa FFA, which raises funds for youth agriculture education, is holding a plant sale at Mariposa County High School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. 

There will be a variety of plants and vegetables for sale, including tomatoes, squash, jalapeno peppers, basil, rosemary and more. There will also be flowers and groundcover available for sale.

The plants have been grown by the FFA horticulture class and all funds will benefit the Mariposa FFA students.

The sale will take place at the agriculture laboratory above Pioneer Market Grizzly Stadium at the high school.
