Four inductees make it to Grizzly Hall of Fame

The 1972-73 Mariposa County High School Grizzly football team is one of four inductees to the Grizzly Hall of Fame for 2014. The team went 7-2, losing only to powerhouses Central Catholic and Newman, taking second in the Southern Athletic League. The other three inductees are booster Walt Butler, track runner Serena Dominguez and baseball player Jeff Reavis. Trace DeSandres | ContributedWednesday, April 23, 2014 - 12 p.m. - The Mariposa County High School (MCHS) Grizzly Hall of Fame committee recently announced four new inductees to the hall, which includes the entire 1972-73 Grizzly football team.

According to MCHS Athletic Director Trace DeSandres, the four inductees—the gridiron gods, Grizzly booster Walt Butler, record-holding track runner Serena Dominguez and baseball player Jeff Reavis—each exemplify the greatness that is Grizzly pride.
