Greg Knight | The GAZETTEMonday, March 17, 2014 - 11:10 a.m. - Proving the maxim that rivalry games are only truly interesting when your opponent is competitive, the Lady Grizzlies soccer team steamrolled over Le Grand on Saturday, March 15 in a 5-1 Southern Athletic League victory that included a total of four goals by Eliza Amstutz.

Le Grand’s energy was so low during the game that the team was not able to put a scoring drive together until the second half when Lady Bulldog Nancy Granados found the back of the net.

Comparatively, the Lady Grizzlies were on fire, with Amstutz, a sophomore, scoring three goals in the first half for her hat-trick, and an additional goal in the second.
