Showers likely through Friday morning

Close to an inch of rain was expected as Thursday morning's storm passed over the county. More showers were expected on Thursday night, a National Weather Service forecast said.

Storm snowfall totals above 7,000 feet were estimated in the 6-inch to one-foot range. Another pulse of moisture could add to the totals on Friday, forecasters added.

"A cool northwest flow" will dominate the area through the weekend, the forecast said.
