Fire erupts overnight near county line

Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014 - 10:40 a.m. - At around 3 a.m. this morning, firefighters responded to a wildland blaze on U.S. Forest
Service land near the southern Mariposa County line with Madera County.

Details at this time are limited. The fire was visible from the Worman Road area, and one fire agency reports it burned approximately five acres in a high meadow.
