Two arrested in vandalism at MES

Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 - The Mariposa County Sheriff's Office arrested two 20-year old men after vandalism and property damage at Mariposa Elementary School in the early morning hours of Saturday, Sept. 21.

According to the report from the sheriff's office, the pair broke several windows out of a school-owned pick-up truck parked near the site. They also reportedly destroyed the school garden and attempted to break into a storage shed on school property.

Apprehended were Austin Card-Rhoan and Kalel Lemire. Both were booked into the Mariposa County Jail.
