Small fire extinguished on Triangle Road

Friday, Aug. 16, 2013 - Around 1 p.m. firefighters responded to a one acre wildland fire approximately a mile up Triangle Road from Highway 49 South.

The blaze was quickly extinguished and the surrounding vegetation spared.

A cause has not been determined, but it appeared that the fire started at the side of the road.
