Robin Herman Jackson

Robin “Bob” Herman Jackson, aged 88, passed away on July 13, 2013 in Merced.

Jackson was born in Palo Alto on March 30, 1925 to Bob and Edythe Jackson. He was the younger of two children. After graduating from Palo Alto High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy. Upon discharge from the Navy he relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area where he became an accomplished general contractor.

In 1947, Bob married the love of his life, Gloria Mae Jackson. To this union four children were born: Robin, Renee, Steven and Rochelle. In 1990, Bob relocated to Mariposa where he remained until his passing.

He leaves behind to cherish memories his four daughters: Robin, Renee, Rochelle, and Michelle. He also leaves four grandchildren: Charlene Thomas- Hatter, Wayne Talton and Tennille Jackson, and ten great-grandchildren, one uncle Felix Natis, and his beloved companion Tina Osborne.
