John Paul Fraser

John Paul Fraser (Paul) died peacefully, surrounded by his family, on March 15.

Paul was born to Mary Luella Fraser and John Fraser, the first of seven children, on June 29, 1914 in Australia. He worked as a machinist at the Alameda Navel Air Station for 38 years. Paul was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman, master gardener, crafty card player, brilliant engineer, a good friend and had a great sense of humor right to the end.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife of 71 years, Lois; daughter, Linda; grandson, Shaun; brothers, Francis and Donald; and sisters, Rita and Margaret.

Paul leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Donald; daughter, Kathleen; son in law, Harvey; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, sisters, Rose and Phyllis; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral celebration was held on March 25, at Holy Angels in Hayward. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's memory can be made to Alzheimer's Association.
