A Coulterville man is behind bars this morning after he was arrested for having sex with a girl under age 18.

Chad James Warwick, 24, was arrested on Monday. He is charged with sexual intercourse with a minor.

Warwick is being held at the Mariposa County Jail on $50,000 bail.

Warwick was originally booked under the wrong charge, which showed that his victim was under age 14. The Mariposa County Sheriff's Office has since corrected the information.
