Paul Hudak

Paul Hudak was born in Youngstown, Ohio on Oct. 8, 1930. He died on Dec. 29, 2012 in Mariposa at the age of 82.

A memorial celebration was held at his home in Mariposa on Saturday, Jan. 5, attended by friends and family.

After retiring from a career in the aerospace industry, Paul and his wife Ingrid settled in Mariposa in 2001, and enjoyed the rural lifestyle and mountain community kindness. Previously, his profession had led him and his family to other parts of the country, including Los Angeles, Michigan, Washington state and the Bay Area. However, Mariposa was where he enjoyed living the most. He was fortunate to have good health and energy until the last few weeks of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Ingrid, his two sons; Frank, residing in Fresno; and David, living in Oakland; and his daughter, Greta, living outside of Philadelphia. He also had two grandchildren, Natasha and Savannah, and a younger brother, Larry Hudak.
