Robin Clover (right) became Mariposa’s new postmaster during a swearing-in ceremony on Nov. 20.

Administering the oath is Stockton-based regional supervisor Bobbi Riley. Clover is now “responsible for every piece of mail going in and out of Mariposa,” Riley said.

The post office on Jessie Street handles between 20,000 and 30,000 pieces of mail a day. Inside the office are 1,789 post office boxes.
