Robbery suspects held on $1 million bail

Four men now sit in the Mariposa County Jail charged with the Sept. 28 robbery of the California State Mining and Mineral Museum. They are each being held on $1 million bail.

The Mariposa County Sheriff's Office has just released the suspects' pictures and the detailed charges which they each face.

Edward Rushing III is charged with attempted burglary, second degree robbery, terrorist threats, conspiracy to commit a crime and violation of parole. All charges are felonies.

Jonathan Matis is charged with attempted burglary, second degree robbery, possession of a stolen vehicle, vehicle theft, conspiracy to commit a crime and vandalism.

Christopher Sheffield faces charges of attempted burglary and conspiracy, and Matthew Campbell is charged with the same felonies.

A date for arraignment in Mariposa County Superior Court has not been announced.
