Many residents awoke to a dusting of snow on Saturday morning, but the weather is predicted to be noticeably warmer this week.

A colder than normal storm left a few inches of snow in Yosemite Valley and on the higher elevations of Mariposa County late last week. Temperatures dropped below freezing following the storm.

Warmer days are expected this week. Temperatures are expected to peak on Thursday to around 70 degrees. More rain is forecast for the weekend.
