Marilyn Carrie Rogers Mason

Marilyn Carrie Rogers Mason was born on Nov. 17, 1924, and passed away on June 11, 2012.

“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever,” (Psalms 73:26).

Eighty eight years young, daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, teacher and friend, Marilyn Carrie Rogers Mason was promoted to Heaven on June 11, 2012 in her home in Sonora, CA.

In Heaven we will share God’s happiness forever. The eternal and perfect happiness of Heaver is indescribable. In Heaven, “there will be no more death or sorrow or crying. There will be no more pain. Old things have passed away...All things have become new.” (Rev. 21:4-5). In her interim body, Marilyn is now reveling with family and friends who have preceded her.

We who are left behind: sister Phyllis Plattfoot of Oroville, CA; daughters Pamela Henderson of La Grange and Kaye Conway of Hawaii; neice Sherri Sarwicki of Placentia, CA; grandchildren Michael Kobalyof Exeter, CA and Jeffrey Conway of Orlando, FL; great grandchildren Brandon Kobaly and Brett Kobaly also of Exeter; and multiple friends -- have the hope, comfort and encouragement of being reunited with her when our ambassadorship here on earth is completed. Our considerable sorrow at this tender time is diminished by our knowledge that she is among the many children of God, heirs to all that Christ inherits. And because we are sons and daughters of God through faith alone in Christ alone, we receive many wonderful blessings both on earth and in Heaven, as Marilyn exemplified. This is our legacy as Christians, our inheritance, through Christ Jesus. Marilyn led her family in that faith and shared that confidence with her friends.

God will say to her: “Well done, My good and faithful servant. You were faithful over a few things. I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of our Lord.” (Matt 25:21).
