Big weather changes expected

Jill Ballinger/GAZETTE EDITOR

It was hot over the weekend, but already change is in the air. The National Weather Service (NWS) predicts that temperatures may fall to 15 to 20 degrees below normal tomorrow.

A storm system will impact the area today and tomorrow, bringing substantially cooler weather and the possibility of showers. There is a 60 percent chance of rain later today.

It will also be windy. Gusts of up to 30 miles per hour are predicted. The predicted high for Tuesday is only 64 degrees.

The feel of spring will quickly return on Wednesday, when temperatures are expected to bounce back to normal.
