If the uninsured were given

If the uninsured were given the opportunity to pay the same amounts towards medical bills that the insurance companies pay after they make their contractual "adjustments", more people would be able to pay their own costs and make the need for Obamacare go away. Check your Explanation of Benefits. Insurance companies pay a fraction of the charges while those who are self payers get stuck for the whole bill. That's where the unfairness lies. Charge real and reasonable prices for the services provided and everyone's costs will go down.

Nothing against Mike, but he is the Poster Boy for keeping Obamacare. He chose to engage in a dangerous sport without proper insurance, and now has ran up a bill he may never be able to pay. Guess who will pay? We, the taxpayers. We are paying for medical costs for the uninsured NOW, probably far more than Obamacare would cost.
