Speakers address "Ethics in Hard Times"

In the morning session, Sheriff Doug Binnewies was joined on stage by former U.S. Congressman George Radanovich, Mariposa Symphony Director Les Marsden, Pastor Ginger Foster, author Meg Keoppen, Ethos Director Tyson  Wellcome, and Mountain Services Director Alison Tudor.

Other notable speakers addressed the group in the afternoon.

The theme of the conference was “Ethics in Hard Times.”

One of the event organizers, Jackie Burns, said prior to the conference, “The point of the day is to get to know our neighbors and our community a bit better. There’s so much we can do once we understand the needs and opportunities all around us. This day should be one more step in that direction for every who cares about the county.”
