SFC seeks volunteers

Sierra Foothill Conservancy (SFC) has a number of spring activities that need volunteers. There are spring open houses, which are all-day events.

Volunteers can give a few hours and then spend the rest of the day exploring the preserve. Anyone interested can contact Kristen at kristen@sierrafoothill.org or call 742-5556 to sign up or get more information.

The McKenzie Preserve open house is scheduled for Saturday, March 10. It is one of SFC’s biggest events of the year. Volunteers will help guide guests, staff the SFC information booth and direct parking. Volunteer time slots are 8:30 a.m. to noon or noon to 4:30 p.m.

On March 11 will be the McKenzie Preserve Member’s Day. SFC needs volunteers to help set-up, clean-up and at the welcome booth. Time slots are 8:30 a.m. to noon and noon to 4:30 p.m.

On Sunday, March 25, SFC has scheduled the Ewell Fine Gold Preserve open house. Volunteers are needed to direct guests and traffic. Time slots are 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
