Habitat 'Tour' crosses the finish line

(Erik Skindrud | The Gazette)This month’s Tour de Habitat fundraiser will help purchase a site on Mueller Court where volunteers will start a second home project later this year.

Along with a Feb. 5 road ride, Saturday’s stationary bike event raised close to $10,000 and may even exceed that result, event organizer Charlotte Heitzmann said.

The sum will cover  home site purchase and leave some money over for construction too.
