Tourism bureau brings home best of show
Yosemite National Park and Mariposa County were well-represented at the recent LA Travel and Adventure Show, held at the Long Beach Convention Center, Jan. 14 and 15. So well, in fact, that the group won the award for the 2012 Best of Show Regional Pavilion. Yosemite was the only domestic organization to win an award. The Yosemite pavilion, which was represented by members of Yosemite Mariposa County Tourism Bureau; Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite; California Welcome Center - Merced, DNC Parks & Resorts at Yosemite, Yosemite Resorts, The Redwoods in Yosemite, Mono County Tourism, Bass Lake Chamber of Commerce, Mammoth Lakes Tourism, and Yosemite Sierra Visitors Bureau was highlighted by the Yosemite Experience, which featured a 24-foot rock climbing wall.
