There are other conditions in addition to flooding that PacificUS must satisfy before it can begin construction of the Silvertip resort. Mariposa County recognized the interests of Fish Camp residents who, through the agency Yosemite Alpine Community Services District (YACSD), own wells and easements on the property. The County requires agreement between the developer and district regarding adequacy of access and protection of wells. The district made a detailed settlement offer to PacificUS 18 months ago. There has been no response. No discussions are taking place. It is apparent that PacificUS's top priorities are dealing with its bankruptcy and the foreclosure on its loans on the property. Who does Giuntini think he's kidding? If this project wasn't built in the boom, it can't possibly be built in the bust! He also needs to get his facts straight. As reported by the Gazette, traffic along the Hwy 41 corridor is down, not up.

Help me understand please. PacificUS is no longer in bankruptcy. Is the lender no longer proceeding with the foreclosure filing? Has PacificUS secured financing for the building of the Silvertip project?

No longer in bankruptcy? If you go to the website http://www.ncs.firstam.com/socal/trustee_results.cfm you will see that the properties (including Giuntini's mansion in Pasadena) are now scheduled to be sold in foreclosure on February 7, 2012.
