Kasey Holladay-Raber

Kasey Jean Holladay-Raber of Mariposa was born Nov. 12, 1984, and went home to her Lord and savior on Dec. 30, 2011, in Merced. She was 27. She was surrounded by family and friends.

Known as “Mean, mean Kasey Jean,” by her loved ones, she brought so much love and spunk into their lives. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, wife, aunt and friend. She had a beautiful smile and a heart of gold for all who knew her.

Kasey leaves behind her husband, James Raber; daughters, Kendra Holladay-Sitton and Kayla Raber; mother, Susan Donovan; father and step-mother, Eugene and Sandy Holladay; sisters, Amanda and Nicole Jacobs and Tracy Polston-Fleetwood; brothers, Travis Holladay and Richard Polston; her second family, Dianne and Christopher Sitton; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends. She also joins many of her loved ones in heaven.

Kasey graduated from Chowchilla High School in 2002. She was currently working at the Super 8 in Mariposa and had previously worked in Yosemite National Park where many of her friendships had been made. She was a hard worker for both her job and her friends. She will be missed so much by her family and friends.

Services are currently being planned and will be taking place in Chowchilla.
