How is it that Doug Benniwies

How is it that Doug Benniwies can be voted for Best Peace Officer when he sits in his office and does not go out in the field and fight crime like his Deputies (the real peace officers) do? To me, that does not seem fair to the Deputies out there doing the work that most of us are afraid do do. So in my opinion.... Best Peace Officer should go to all of the PATROL Deputies out there doing real Peace Officer work, not someone closed up in an office all day doing who knows what. No ONE Deputy should be singled out for this title. All DEPUTIES get my vote!

Mariposa Kiwanis Preschool

Mariposa Kiwanis Preschool Academy was the best preschool until the Kiwanis Club Oversight Committee fired the director Jeannine Andre without warning and with absolutely no input from the preschool board or the parents who sent their children there because of Ms. Andre. The Kiwanis Club has jeopardized the future of this great school with little regard for the children that attend it, hurting countless families and throwing the preschool community into turmoil. I was happy to see that Rotary won as best Service organization, because Kiwanis is doing a huge disservice to the community right now!!
