It is my understanding that

It is my understanding that Steve advised Art Lee, the owner of the Chinese restaurant and Pizza Plus, that he was interested in buying Pizza Plus with a buddy who is a firefighter. Unfortunately, his friend was busy fighting the motor home fire and Art could not wait, thus he sold Pizza Plus to a Chinese friend from San Francisco. I have long ago stopped going to the Chinese restaurant because of the "unappetizing" environment and the poor quality of the food. Furthermore, I suspect that few people know that Chinese restaurants don't have to adhere to the strict food safety laws. This might explain some stomach problems after my last visit. Steve and his crew added to the flair of the hometown diner where people knew you and your eating preferences. I will not go there again, neither will my friends. I know many people in the community are upset about Steve, Rhonda, and Debbie leaving. I hope Steve will be able to follow his dreams and open up a restaurant where he can continue to support the community with his fundraisers. And, of course, provide us with his delicious food. You are missed, Steve.
