The rafters don't want to

The rafters don't want to share the river with anyone.Thier interests are strickly monetary. Any other users of the river only get in the way. The buses and the trailers hauling the rafts are traffic hazards. They don't hire locals and the employees don't use hotels ,they camp on the side of the road.The rafters don't even use the area in question. Go Rep Denham and sensible govt.

Both of the participants who were asked months ago to take part in this discussion; the Merced Farm Bureau and the MID have decided "it is not in their best interest" to take part in any discussion at this time. "After the bill has passed then they will be glad to talk about the facts." The director of the Merced Farm Bureau was told to tell me to direct all questions to the MID.
